Itinerary

Day 1: – Mumbai – Gorakhpur

Board the Train from Mumbai LTT for your Journey towards Gorakhpur at 5:23 AM Train No. 20103 LTT GKPSFEXP.

Day 2: – Arrival & Drive Towards Lumbini / Bhairahawa

Arrival at Gorakhpur & visit the most important Buddhist Pilgrimages of Nepal-Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It takes about 3-4 hours to reach Lumbini/Bhairahawa by road. Night Halt at Lumbini / Bhairahawa. (Day 2 Includes only Dinner).

Day 3: – Sightseeing & Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast, it’s time to explore and sightseeing. The main attraction of the day is a sacred Lumbini garden visit where you can see Mayadevi temple, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. The holy site of Lumbini is also famous for its unique ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi tree and shrines constructed by the Buddhist organizations from all over the world. Then enjoy the long drive to Pokhara which takes about 6-7 hours (140 km). (If you wish to take a flight to avoid the long road trip, an additional supplementary prevailing flight charges which is over and above the tour cost of INR 4,000 per person will be applicable per person). Pokhara is a city with Himalayas & lakes.

Day 4: – Pokhara Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy the Pokhara valley sightseeing which includes, Davis falls (waterfall), Gupteshwar cave (hidden Mahadev cave), Bindabasini temple (old temple of Pokhara), Seti Gorge, international mountain museum, boating on Fewa lake (fourth largest lake of Nepal), & a visit to Taal Barahi temple (located in the middle of Fewa lake). Afternoon is time for shopping and individual activities. (Those guests interested in doing adventure sports can indulge in activities like paragliding, ultra-light flight, zip- flying and bungee- jumping, which is the most fun sport in Pokhara for an adventurous feel of nature and the Himalayas. All such activities and the trip to the venues conducting these activities do not come under the purview of our tour cost hence the guests are requested to make their own arrangements for the same). Night Halt at Pokhara. (Day 4 Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 5: – Pokhara – Kathmandu

Having some delicious and filling breakfast at the hotel we will depart for an onward journey to Kathmandu. It takes around 7-8 Hours (205km) to reach Kathmandu by road (If you wish to take a flight to avoid the long road trip, an additional supplementary prevailing flight charges which is over and above the tour cost of INR 4,000* per person will be applicable per person). For those travelling by road we will take a halt during the journey to have lunch. (Guest who will be taking the flight facility the lunch by own cost). On the way, you can also visit the Manakamana Temple (Goddess of Wishes Fulfilling). Once checked in at the hotel it’s time for you to relax and take a leisure time for yourself. Night Halt at Kathmandu. (Day 5 Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 6: – Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, the journey starts by taking the blessings of Pashupatinath at the Pashupatinath temple (famous holy Hindu temple). After this, we will do sightseeing of Bouddhanath stupa (one of the biggest stupas in the world) & visit the Budhanilkantha temple (sleeping Vishnu/Jal Narayan temple) & Swayambhunath stupa (the stupa for faith & harmony/monkey temple). These are all the UNESCO world heritage sites. Once back at the hotel it’s time for you to relax and take a leisure time for yourself. Night Halt at Kathmandu. (Day 6 Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 7: – Kathmandu – Chitwan

After breakfast, depart early towards Chitwan National Park. This is a UNESCO world heritage site. Our stay would be at a resort near the jungle in Chitwan. After lunch, we will do the Tharu (ethnic group) village tour and watch the sunset by the Budhirapti River. Night Halt at Chitwan. (Day 7 Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 8: – Chitwan Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, get ready for an exciting day to start off with some jungle activities which include a visit elephant breeding center, canoeing on the Budhirapti River to see reptiles like the Crocodile, do jeep safari, jungle walking, bird watching and end the day with a beautiful cultural show by the Tharu community in the evening. Night Halt at Chitwan. (Day 8 Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 9: – Chitwan – Lumbini

After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini which would take about 6-7 hrs. Once checked in to the hotel have diner and a good night sleep. Night Halt at Lumbini. (Day 9 Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 10: – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Gorakhpur railway station to board train no. 22537 khushinagar exp 17:25 hrs. (Day 10 Includes only Breakfast).

Day 11: – Arrival at Mumbai

Reach Mumbai at 00:10 hrs. Concluding the journey with some fond memories of the rich cultural heritage, breath taking landscape, a trek through the jungle to connect with the wild and the beauty of the mountains along with Nishnai Holidays.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

Once you are happy with the Quotation & Proposed Itinerary, you need to pay the deposit to make a booking so that we can proceed with all the reservations as soon as possible, in order to minimize any difficulties with availability. On receipt of the deposit amount we will then proceed to reserve the services shown and will send you a new Confirmation Itinerary to help you prepare for your holiday. Two weeks prior to your departure we will send you your Airline / Railway/ Bus Tickets, and a Final Itinerary with the address, telephone number and contact details of our representative. Please do not hesitate to contact us (via email or a phone call) should you require any further information or modifications. All Correspondence/s in Respect to Tours / Travel Service Bookings should be addressed to NISHNAI HOLIDAYS. We are happy to answer any questions you may have or clarify any information concerning your holiday and the proposed tour itinerary.

PAYMENTS PROCEDURE

50% of the total tour cost should be paid in advance for confirming your booking and the balance amount should be paid within 30 days prior to commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide on the amount to be paid as advance, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of services. Apart from the above in some cases like special train journeys, hotel or resort reservations during the peak tourist season, full payment of the tour cost is required to be paid in advance.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment can be made by any online payment gateway system, by bank transfer, cash payment at our office by demand draft / cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and other deductions. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by the payer.

RIGHTS TO AMEND THE ITINERARY IF REQUIRED

The tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for the safety and well-being of our esteemed passengers.

POLICY REGARDING CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any unavoidable reasons, by the passenger, we must be informed only in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive your letter/email.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Minimum Cancellation fee is Rs. 1000 Per head.
  • 90 - 45 Days prior to Tour Start Date 15 % of full tour cost.
  • 44 - 20 Days prior to Tour Start Date 30 % of full tour cost.
  • 19 - 10 Days prior to Tour Start Date 60 % of full tour cost.
  • 09 - 06 Days prior to Tour Start Date 80 % of full tour cost.
  • 05- 00 Days / No show 100% of full tour cost.

PLEASE NOTE - Irrespective of the above-mentioned cancellations slabs; in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us - a minimum 10% service charge would be applicable.

REFUND

Regarding refunds of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out based on cancellation policy as described above and the money would be refunded to the person who has made the payment to us.

Please Note: The refund process may take up to 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account or to bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

POSTPONEMENT

In case of Postponement, the cost may change as per the next tour date and itinerary. Also, it will vary on the number of people and conditions existing during that time.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – (COVID19)

Guests arriving from restricted countries or regions will be required to share detailed information as prescribed by the ministry of tourism’s protocols, prior to arrival. They should always carry vaccination certificate or a negative covid-19 RT-PCR report. This test must be conducted within 72 hours prior to the arrival.

To ensure safety, mandatory thermal temperature check is done for each guest before check-in. The management reserves the right to accept/ deny any bookings, subject to corona virus medical history or any other issues pertaining to the same. All guests shall wear face mask compulsorily in general and hotel lobby and other tourist place common areas.

HEALTH

Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel. Any such person found during the tour with such conditions will be asked to leave the tour immediately and will have to make their own arrangements of returning home. Travelers suffering from chronic diseases or those taking medication need to inform us prior to the travel so that necessary precautionary measures can be taken during the commencement of the travel. Nishnai Holidays not to be held responsible for any damages, injuries or losses that occurs in case of concealing health status / no information provided about chronic illness or on long term medication.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE HOTEL & RESORTS DEPARTURE POLICY:

Check-in time is 1200 - 1400 hours, while check-out time is 1000 - 1200 hours for most hotels & resorts. Early check-in and late check-out are chargeable as per the hotel policy. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. Documents can be either an Indian Aadhaar card, Indian Driver’s license, Indian voter ID card, or Indian / international passport.

Please Note: Pan Card, company or student ID card is not an acceptable form of ID. All hotels & resorts reserve the right to refuse check-in in the absence of such valid identification documents. The primary age for all the guests must be at least 18 years, to check in in any hotels & resorts. Visitors are not allowed inside the guest room after 21:00 hrs. Visitor’s registration is required as your safety & security is of our paramount concern.

OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS:

Please Note: After the Finalization of the Tour/Service Cost, if there are any Hikes/Increase in Entrance Fees of Monuments/Museums, Taxes, Fuel Cost or Guide Charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as Extra.

NISHNAI HOLIDAYS:

  • We act only in the capacity of agent for all hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.
  • All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the trip scheduled. Numerous factors such as weather conditions, road conditions and the physical ability of the participants etc. may determine an itinerary change either before or on the tour. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the best interest of participants' safety, comfort & general well-being.
  • Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. hotels and airlines retain the right to modify/change the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before can be changed by us according to the modifications made by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on the usual check-in and check-out time of the hotels until and unless indicated otherwise in the itinerary.
  • If there are less tourists on any tour, then the traveling will be arranged as per group size either by car, tempo traveler, or minibus. In such case, tour participants can choose to postpone their tour for the next available date.
  • Package is subject to availability of flight - train – hotel - local vehicles.
  • Extra bed provided in hotel will be a mattress with bed sheet, blanket, and pillow.
  • Complimentary destinations are subject to time availability.
  • Carry only required luggage / carry food required during train journey / carry woolen clothes if travelling to places of extreme cold climatic conditions especially to hilly regions / liquor & loud music is prohibited during the tour.
  • There are pre-set menus for meal provided on tour. Organization reserves the right to change the meal arrangements if circumstances make it necessary for us to do so. If the tour participant misses any meal due to any reason, then no claim can be made for the meal he/she has missed or not consumed.
  • Air / rail reservations are fully computerized, and we do not have any control over seat allocation, or their policies regarding cancellation / refund / rescheduling or any other aspect related to the same.
  • Any claim related to the package must be brought to the notice of the company within a week.
  • Guests must follow instructions given by our tour coordinator.
  • We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, or any untoward incidents.
  • We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly
  • From any act of god, dangers, fire, accident, break down in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
  • We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accidents, sickness, and loss due to theft or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property always are at the client's risk.
  • All the disputes are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction only.
  • Should there be any doubt or ambiguity, kindly clear the same before making your decision to buy the package / tour. We sincerely work for your merriment and request you take time for reading all the details minutely, to avoid disappointment at later stage.
  • NISHNAI HOLIDAYS reserves the right to change, alter or cancel a trip due to any reason which might not be in the best interest of your safety and well-being.

Passports & Visas :

To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizens of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06-month valid passport and a valid visa. Processing of passport and visa are not included in the tour cost.
