Best Time to visit Char Dham Yatra

Indeed, holy visits do not have any specific time; you can go anytime your heart calls, but the fact is not every time is suitable for Chardhamyatra. The best time for Chardham Yatra is the summer, from April to June. This is the ideal time to visit Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.

If you visit the temples at this time, you will witness how beautifully nature adorns itself with various flowers blooming everywhere on the mountains. As the temples of Chardham lie at higher altitudes, summer arrives a little late here, that is, by the end of April. The monsoon season of the temples from June to September is not a recommended time to visit as landslides and flooding are common during monsoon. Because of the zero degrees, the darshan is stopped after Diwali.
